“I am in my early 60s and have trained with Tom for over four years. I have been very happy with the experience. During that period I have had two hip replacements. Tom devised upper body exercises that I could do at home while rehabilitating and even prepared a video illustrating what to do. He communicated with my surgeon as to what could and could not be done, and when, for an exerciser with a hip replacement. He adjusted and adapted exercises and weights until, as I grew stronger, I have ended up doing more than I did before I needed surgery, but in ways so as not to jeopardize the replacements. On top of it all, Tom is a very nice guy. He should change his name from Tom Sovocool to Tom So Very Cool!”

“Tom is by far the best personal trainer that I have worked with.  I started training with him when I was pregnant with my second daughter and needed some motivation to exercise due to back pain that I was having.  In just a few sessions with Tom, the back pain was gone and I was hooked on his workouts.  Tom always knew what week of pregnancy I was in and changed my workouts accordingly.  He also would modify exercises on the spot if I was having any trouble doing them and showed me stretches to do at home to prevent back pain.  By the time my due date rolled around, I was strong and ready for labor.  I continued working with Tom after I had my daughter and credit him for getting me back to pre-baby fighting form.  I particularly wanted to target my core after delivery and Tom incorporated various core strengthening exercises to meet my needs. I think so highly of Tom and the results I have achieved from training with him that I still work with him even though I have moved out of state.  Whether you train in person or remotely with Tom, he is attentive, flexible, and conscientious.  Those are traits that I especially value as a mother of two small children with limited time to exercise.”

Each video so far has hit the sweet spot of variety and intensity. Tom has trained me for several different competition events. He is my go-to person regarding any injuries--he has never led me wrong with which stretches or recovery exercises to do. He has knack for taking your current level of fitness and your goals and tailoring an appropriate, effective workout that gets you results.”
